FAQ

Why POV?

Because I have a face for radio and a voice for the newspaper. All jokes aside, the journey is the star here, not me. True POV means you see exactly what I see: the work, the land, the animals. And I have a passion for helping people, one follower and subscriber at a time.

What is POV Homestead?

POV Homestead is the documented journey of one family working toward a 5+ acre off-grid homestead, told in three acts: Get. Build. Keep. Everything is filmed true POV: no faces, no kids, just the work.

What does “Get. Build. Keep.” mean?

GET is finding and buying the land. BUILD is turning raw land into a working homestead: shelter, water, food, animals. KEEP is the long game: the skills, systems, and resilience to hold onto it no matter what. Every post and video lives in one of those three acts.

Do you already live on a homestead?

Not yet. You’re watching the road there, the land hunt, the lessons, and the builds, in real time.

Where are you looking for land?

Rural Michigan. The checklist: 5+ acres (closer to 10 is the goal), water on the land plus a good well spot, septic-friendly ground, mature trees, direct road frontage, no power lines or towers nearby, and zoning that allows livestock.

Why don’t you show faces?

Same reason it’s called POV, you see what I see. No faces, no kids, ever. The work is the content.

How often do you post?

Daily on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, and X. Weekly videos on YouTube and Rumble.

Can I send you a product to test or sponsor a video?

Yes, that’s what the Work With Me page is for. Hands-on testing is part of the BUILD act, so if it fits the homestead life, let’s talk.
